I think its the piece thats at fault? Im sure they work on magnatism? can you see where the magnet is on the bottom? if its internal then maybe its dislodged internally? I know this sounds maybe a little stupid but maybe bang the piece down hard a few times and maybe that will relocate it?

i don't know exactly how the mechanism works but but i tried it and won't do any help. i'm pretty sure the piece is broken. I think i'm gonna contact DTG. its also not really possible to open the piece up.

Hi all,
Since today i got a problem with one E black piece. i won't detect by the board and software.
i update the firmware and reinstalled the software. but nothing seems to work. the squar is not the problem because other pieces get detected on it. is the piece broken ? and is there a way to fix it?
