It could be a glitch, in this case try to disconnect from live chess, clear the cache and exit your browser. Then you can get back to live chess and see if that solves the issue.
I hope you didn't report your opponent for cheating because that is certainly not his fault.
I think you're saying that you lost 2.25 minutes just to play e5. Maybe a glitch.
I lost that game due of that, and no, i was pissed off because that happened but i did not report him, if i have this problem again i'll try it your wat Eehc,
