Problems Regarding Pawns En Passant

Perhaps as a variant, but since pawn promotion doesn't happen to often in regular chess games, I'm guessing that adding anti-pawns upon promotion wouldn't really change the game significantly enough to be an interesting variant. In fact, it would probably make the advance of pawns less desireable, since pawn promotion is worth much less (anti-pawns are definitely less desireable than a potential queen), so it would pretty much be regular chess, but with even less motivation to advance pawns in the middlegame and endgame.

@Josh11live I meant 'antipawns' as a concept in a variant, I know chess isn't coming. Also, the pawn moves in a "C" shape, similar to a croissant, and it sounds funny. En passant sounds like a fancy restaurant's name. Additionally, en croissant is already being used commonly.
P.S. Grammarly thinks it should be called En Eclair
I believe it should be called En Croissant. Please change this. Also, pawns should be able to promote into anti-pawns, which are pawns that move backwards and look like upside-down pawns.. Anti-pawns can promote like a pawn if they cross the board once more, and can turn into normal pawns again. Maybe add to a new chess variant?
