Could we have more profundity in the forums?

When I first saw the title I thought it said "profanity in the forums," which is why I clicked on it.

heh heh.

Profundity (profoundness):

1. Deep insight; great depth of knowledge or thought.

2. Great depth or intensity of a state, quality, or emotion.

Well, if we go by the second definition, then we have a lot of "profundity"in the forums, with all of the intensely emotional arguments going on (often with profanity used).

I agree.  Though we have an IM and many class A and experts who regularly post so it does draw some profundity.

How would you know this? :)

When dead then presumably we ARE nothing. So why then would we desire it? Also, if we're nothing (dead), then how could we desire if we didn't exist? Desire presupposes existance.

I hope this SEEMS profound and would therefore contribute to this topic.

I can't decide if this is a 'face value' question, or sarcasm! Laughing
