proposed world chess championship

I am relly really confused about the proposed selection for the contenders for the world chess championship. It's probably the right time to BAILOUT the present chess organization, who is thinking of this new scheme. It is true that the 2 best players in the world should play for the world championship, to be determined by those interzonal tournament like they were doing before.

Nowadays, I thinks they're playing favoritism for some players and ignoring a true a worthy challenger. This is not fair and is not right. They should realize that this is not going to be a popular to most, and will result from further split and deterioration among players and chess organizations, like what happened to bobby and gari. So Mr. FIDE President and your cohorts, please th8ink it over again. You might learn some lessons from what happened before. I thought Campomanes' tenure was bad enough, this will surely surpass it.

Kabayan, i think that problem already exsited even here in our country. NM. Sammy Estimo had a column in the Inquirer about the selection of the national team for the Chess olympiads. Favoritism... is a favorite in our system too. Even world champions before FIDE had monopolized the title. Basically brother... it all starts fron the basics. A strong player will rarely get to the top without sponsors. See it this way Player A is better than player B but player B has str0ng connections (sponsors, politics etc.) to make progress so he gets it. And another thing I noticed about organizations is that they have to survive. The sad thing is that "money-material" takes its toll on organization too. The irony is this... would Bobby Fischer had won the right to play in the interzonal in 1970 without Benko giving way and make history in the match of the centuy and raise the status of chess?. Fact is there will always be "King Makers" and thats the sad fact we had to face.(no offense )
