This is the very first screenshot which tells me that I've done 34 puzzles. 

Here is another screenshot telling me I've done only 12 puzzles. 

And you can clearly that its the same opponent based on the time, which in both screenshots is 21:01. 

Have any of y'all been getting this sort of bug?

This has btw, been happening more than 3-4 times.
