Good puzzle, but the mate in 5 is only forced if 24. Rxh7+ is met with taking the Rook. 24. Rxh7+ Kg8 avoids a quick checkmate.

There is also duality on 28. Qf7+ or 28. Qg6+ as both lead to mate in 2 from there. (28. Qg6+ Kh8 29. Qh7# or 28...Kf8 29. Qf7#)
