Qatar Masters Open

What do you think about this tournament? It is quite unusual to see so many top players at an open tournament. Who do you think will win? Do you think it was a mistake for Giri, Kramnik and Mamedyarov to sign up because they will likely lose Elo points?

I think it's a good thing for the top players to play in large open tournaments instead of shielding themselves from the general pool.  If they're as good as advertised, they'll win.

A very intersting tournament, as elite 2700+ players rately play against 'normal' GMs. Looks like Kramnik had a rough start, but i'm impressed by Giri's clean 4/4 score !
