QGD dilemma

Hello there knowledgable posters

I currently play the semi slav and i get there by playing e6 first rather than the more popular c6(i dont know why). This is to avoid the slav, exchange variation which results in a symmetrical pawn structure.

Now i tried to find a solution

So the key move is Be7,but it is a QGD and I would like to reach semi slav positions.

What do you think should i do?

1.Drop the semi slav? and adopt the QGD?

2.Adopt the c6 move order and risk a slav exchange?

3.Others
