1. i dont quite understand the calculation of total players by division of rank/percentage standing? how are you supposed to infer from knowing where you stand relative to the player base in terms of skill, to the absolute number of players?
2. the average doesnt change much since it really is the average of ALL of your games you played. You having 6000 is quite a lot of games. Since the average is generated from so many games, the individual games contribute very little change to that average.
(for example i have been around 1400 rapid for quite some time, also beating 1400's regularly, yet the average rating of my opponents beaten is still only 1065)
3. i dont know, besides just asking them directly via chat
I wonder if someone could answer a question. It used to be that, if you divided your rank by your percentage standing, there were about 25 million rated players. Now it indicates more like 5 million. Is this an update, a change in how they figure or have I changed a setting of some kind? Also, some stats, like average rating of those you win, lose or draw don't seem to be updated very often. Finally, how do you set things to ask if someone wants to chat? If someone more knowledgeable could help me, I'd be grateful. Thank you.
