Whenever I've watched/witnessed an analysis session involving multiple GMs and one IM, such as Rensch, Sachdev, Lawrence Trent, Karlovich, Rudolf, etc., at some point when they turn to the IM, he or she inevitably will smile and say "No one cares what I think."
Is this pretty typical when an IM is in a group of GMs, feeling like the younger sibling who needs to be quiet and let the big kids talk?
