You have to wonder if a human being unaided by computer could ever be capable of a rating like this.

Anyway. His average opponent is 1600. If he plays Quick games at a rating of, say, 2200, then eventually his rating IS going to go this high.
Getting in 2600 games against 2200-rated players might be a challenge at this point in time.
