Yes and that is exactly how he got an average opponent of 1596. By continously playing opponents under 1000....

This would explain it. We should message the BBC immediately...

Anyway. His average opponent is 1600. If he plays Quick games at a rating of, say, 2200, then eventually his rating IS going to go this high.
