quite chaotic to play chess anymore... SHOULD I QUIT?

Play daily chess against 30 people. fast chess is o.k. as pastime voor 2000+, but it is just chaos with the one who makes the dumbest mistakes loses and the one with the best position loses on time. It's contrary to what chess really is in my humble 1300+ opinion. For me it is useless. I don't learn anything from it, either by playing or by watching.

how did the op go from

But that would have nullified your days, weeks, months or even years of effort learning and playing the game of chess. It's perfectly legal for the opponent to let his time run down, since the rulebook does not mention that this is not allowed, although it does not reflect well on the player's sportsmanship. As for stalemate, you will be thankful if you manage to swindle a stalemate out of a losing position.
The future will probably be brighter for you than you feel now.

AviaSharma , you actually didn't lose the last game due to stalemate. You lost because you agreed to a draw when you where up 20 points and ahead 3 minutes on time. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose just to communicate a point or what, but if you throw away points like that you will have a hard time passing the 1000 barrier in blitz or any time control. I got caught resigning after being down only two pawns in the opening. Yeah a bad position, but I could have continued to play because we are both amateurs it's easy for anyone to make further mistakes later on.
The only thing I can say is that your probably better off not playing blitz until you gain skill on the big five. If you do not know what the big five is google Dan Heisman and find his site. I'm a lot better than you and the answer for me as well is to stop playing so much at blitz and start playing games with longer time controls and learning to use all my time on games with slower time controls. I have time management issues, that's my problem. What's yours? In order to get better you have to start isolating your problems and start changing things. At your level that is tough. I know because I was there for a long time. The only way to get better fast is to start playing people a lot higher rated than you are, and losing to them, and later analyzing the games. I should follow my good advice!
At your level the games are decided by lots of blunders on both sides you you sometimes get games where you have 20+ more points than your opponent and cannot find a mate because you do not have a decent mating pattern repertoire as of it. I suggest you study end game mating patterns with pieces and later with pieces and pawns on the board to avoid having to think about what to do in time crunches when you are ahead in material but mate may seem far off but doable because you can see patterns in your head to lead to mate.
