I think at the end of game players feel nervousness and are under pressure so that is why they move their chess pieces here and there on chess board and finally lose the match.

I noticed quite obviously in a game of chess that certain players when they are already hard up they tend to unpurposely blundered their moves by making mistakes one after the other, on and on again until they lose.
