Let's throw Carouana into the list and see in a few months if he really belongs there. put him on the bottom .. Not really great looks.

You spelled Caruana wrong. Do it like GM Yasser Seirawan: Cariuhana.

I think where Tal would be put on the list will be very different if you're ranking the young Tal or the older Tal.

Well I'll give you credit for an original topic.

Lasker is underrated.  Remember he was champion for almost 3 decades and then a world class player for another almost 2.  Lasker as a young guy was rather handsome: 19149.jpg

19th century and  early 20th century clothes are cooler and how you dress shoud count.

Also I think Spassky is underrated.  He gets bonus points because not only was he hottie in the 1950s as a teen: (only lets me post one photo so https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/45/Boris_Spasski_%281956%29_-_corrected.jpg

he still looks distinguished today.

Carlsen's features don't get him #1 spot, Too large a jaw, narrow eyes...   I don't even think top 10.

Carlsen is #1? OP is from the States or from the planet of the apes?
