Rapid pool

Just played several rapid games, at least half of players are engine cheaters, sometimes they make their own moves but play some others with engine help. However My last game was against a player who plays every single move with engine suggestion. This player for easy recapture was spending 5-10 seconds. That’s a clear engine sign. Then this player played over 200 rapid games (yes it’s a relatively new player but still it’s a big load of games and not detected yet.

That player name starts with P (I don’t mention since it’s easy to find in my recent games). Shame on admins who intentionally let such cheaters play. If it was a decent site, there was an automatic engine detection system and this player couldn’t have played 200+ games. First obvious engine game should equal to bann.

Chess.com and its administration insult decent players by letting rapid pool be the engine cheaters nest. Shame on you, you intentionally want to let cheaters to play. At least half of my rapid opponents today were cheaters, and this one was not cheating every second move, he was cheating every move and already played hundreds of games.


About playing against engine cheaters there is a cool fact: whenever you afraid if they do move X but they make move Y, it doesn’t mean they didn’t see X the engine saw something even stronger.

Just got refunded for one of many losses that I had today, I’m waiting for 5-6 more refunds.

@Immaculate_Slayer Rapid is the best type of chess one can play online, I wasn’t playing rapid because of incredible amount of cheating load, but a few days ago once I hit 2400 blitz for the first time, I’ve concluded to play rapid to improve my understanding further. With a bit of difficulty I reached 2200 rapid (it should have been much easier, weren’t those many cheaters), then today I went below that because of obvious cheaters. Imagine that in such a time, you have zero resistance chance against engine: engine performs deep tactical and strategical maneuvers that in total of 10 minutes no human can understand it. It’s total waste of time.

I mean I don’t even learn anything about my losses. Sometimes when I understand my opponent cheats, I switch to anti engine move: close the game, make it as long as possible, some other dirty tricks, just to flag my opponent. Even though I’m good at doing that against cheaters, I find it waste of time: 20 min of struggle to lose later, no fun no improvement. Then today I said let’s play normal no matter if the opponent cheats, just to learn from engine. It was total waste of time, I just got demolished by engine cheaters and didn’t learn anything because all were too deep to understand in short time.

[name removed Moderator] is the name of the obvious cheater, this player played 200+ games, amazing game win rate. That’s a shame for the site. Each game 20 min, means he wasted 4k minutes (more than 24h) of players time on the site. Just imagine 24h wasted just by one cheater, multiple it by thousands to see how much time of players is wasted for playing against cheaters.
