Rapid vs Blitz rating

Is my blitz rating fairly low compared to my rapid rating, my rapid is 1360 and my blitz is like 880. What's the difference between y'all's?
I'm 1100 in rapid but only 700 in blitz. Took quite a while to get from 400 to 700 blitz when I first started playing it.
Different games, different skills, different ratings.
Some are good in one, others in the other.
800 m and 10,000 m are different disciplines in running and different athletes are good at it.
