what is the rarest move in chess?
Some kind of bishop move. There is a video about it on YouTube.
It is a discovered checkmate by a bishop and there is another bishop in the same row of the same color squares (after promoting) so that the move has to be specified by line, which makes it super rare. By the time the video was made, only one game that featured this kind of move was listed on the lichess database (I think).
