Games less than 4 moves dont change ratings

Hi Everyone.
I played my first rated game, and won! Game was three moves long, the guy I played against tried an Englund - I didnt fall for it - so they resigned. 3 moves total from me. It was a rated game, but my rating did not adjust afterwards, I am still unrated after this triumphant win. What happened? Am I not supposed to get rating points even if my opponent resigns?
