Rated live chess as white

I have a fast question. My group has set up a tournament for live 60 min games. We assigned colors that the players will start with. In the live chess room under custom, I can enter the 60 min time

BUT. I can't seem to be able to make myself play as white while still being rated.....The options sat play as white/black unrated. Is there a way to choose your color and play rated?

not that I know of; probably to keep people from only playing white!

You can always make it an unrated tournament, or not require the color order.

Hi naturalproduct! I noticed you can challenge someone and then choose to be white or black. Click on their name and click "Challenge to a Game".

I challenged a random person to a rated game as white, but right after I closed the window I noticed it switched to random. If the game switched to unrated as well, I am not sure because he did not accept. If you can't fix it like this, perhaps aborting the game until you get the right colors works? Or is it set after the game is set? Sorry about answering questions with questions, but it's the best I can do. 

No, because then people would always choosee white!

Here you go NP! 

Go to a person and right click their name. (Try having them post something in the main hall at a specified time) and click "Challenge to a Game". This should up.

Just click the necessary options.
