Rating advance

Is it possible/probable for a player's rating to advance from 1000to 1492 within two days?

It's possible to increase a rating from 1000 to 3000 in 2 days.

It's not possible to increase a skill level from 1000 to 1492 in 2 days.

New or inactive accounts can easily contain two important elements: the player is underrated, and has a high RD due to inactivity (meaning they can gain 100s of points per game for the first few games).

I knew I should have aborted...would I have been penalize if I did that before my first move?

You rating doesn't change if the game is aborted.
