When I first started playing chess on here I was winning at least once per one loss, and my rating climbed to the 1400's or so. The last few days though, I have been on this incredible losing streak. Every time I feel that I put up a good fight, and that my tactics are good enough for my level. But without fail almost every loss I have suffered is from a major blunder that could have easily been prevented. It is like my patience has run out and I am playing really sloppy.

Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

You've been on chess.com for 10 days.

Everyone has ups and downs and you've only played 35 games so I would say you need to play a few more before your rating really reflects your current skill.

@OP: Everything you described is self-imposed. Smile You commit a "major blunder" and play "really sloppy" (sic). Of course this happens to everyone!

You have lost seven games in a row, which truly could not be described as an "incredible" length. Keep playing for a win!
