its the same... its all worth equal.
if it wasnt then players would just leave to let the time run out and that would be rather messy
also agreed draws are equal to stalemate draws, perpetual draws etc

I have a question. When you’re playing someone do you receive a higher rating for a check mate then if the time runs out on a game? The reason I ask is because I'm playing a game right now where I will have mate in the next few moves and time is running a little low.
Also, do you receive the same increase in ranking when your opponent resigns as opposed to them being check mated?
