Muy question is, how inflated is the chess.com rating compares to "real life" rating. I mean, a player whose rating is 2000 in chess.com, would be able to play equally against 2000s in real life competente?
By the way, how is rating determined un real life? How can a teacher tell his student that he is rated 1000, for example? When you start playing tournaments, with which rating do you start?
