rating vs analysis

After years of playing my rating is quite stable between 1700 and 1800 (bullet) but when I review my games I’m told I play like 1200 ( not always; average value) so I don’t understand.
How can I be 1700 if I play at 1200 ? Anyone can explain please ?

1700 is a mathematically correct number. 1200 is derived by an estimate of how a single gme was played. The estimate from various discussions is suppose to be a for ""FUN/Intersting" and it is not accurate and can be wildly off. I imagine, Especially with bullet where one can play poor moves which are effective can result in a low score. In my opinion it should be ignored.
