Ugh I hate when that happens, I’ve lost a couple games on time because I wasted time trying to reconnect

It used to make me angry. It’s happened twice more since I posted this. It just madkes me lose interest in chess.com now if I’m honest! There’s obviously an issue with chess.com’s server. Shame.
It’s happened a few times to me as well, highly frustrating when it happens.

Yes, I have had this happen much more recently. It is frustrating because many times you may not notice it. I think chess.com should give you more time to reconnect. I believe it is set at a minute, which if you are concentrating on your next move and then notice it, may leave you with seconds and costs you the game.
Hi… has anyone experienced the sever disconnecting during a match? I’ve lost 8 games due to the serve trying to reconnect but unable to.
My internet is fine, my Wi-Fi and 4G always have full signal.
It’s rather annoying especially when you are about to checkmate your opponent on the next move!! 😭😭
