Ratings differ depending on where you play. The club will understand if you explain you are 1200 in rapid on chess.com and 1800 in rapid at lichess.
The difference is mostly explained by the fact that everyone starts at 1500 at lichess while people can start at 400, 800 ,1200 or 1600 here.

What's a reliable online rating to use if you dont play OTB? I'm nothing special, here I'd say Im gonna bust out of 1100 into 1200 only because of hardwork since Ive rejoined but on liechess Im defeating 1800 players and got put in a game with an NM (whatever that means) and he beat me but not easily. It's like I'm trying to join a club and the dude on the phone is like what's your rating? Im like, I really don't know pal. It needs work and I wanna be smashed by stronger opponents to improve with an after game analysis. He must have thought I was smoking something
