Yeah so im apparently a complete nutcase in regards to Chess.
So this game ended in Remis, and as such a draw. So no "Win" for me..
So it's remis because the opponent cannot move their King anywhere, without getting into checkmate, yes?
But why the hell doesn't that give me a win then, i won, i put the king in a loose loose situation, which is the essential in chess.. no?
Can someone clear it up for me, because this just seems like whats the point of outplaying opponent then?

So, the only way to "Win" is by ME putting him in checkmate, if he is forced to put himself in checkmate, its a remis by pat?...
So, the way to fix this, is to make sure he does not get in that position, and that i end the game by ME putting him in a checkmate?
Its just kinda stupid to me, because clearly i won this game and he had no chance to win... I know it's controversial to say, but honestly its a stupid rule lol...
By he i mean she..

It's not stupid at all . Become the president of FIDE and change this rule if you want to.

Its called Stalemate. Its when it is a player's turn but they cannot make any legal moves. It means that players still have to be cautious during endgames even when they are winning by a large amount. It is also why you should never resign!
