Reset rating possible?

Nope.

There is one way: 

Delete your account and create a new one.  

But then you lose all your old games 🙁

The only ratings you can reset are Tactics and Lessons. 

But the way the rating system works means that if you improve your rating will start reflecting that over a numbers of games.

With such a rating as you have, if you start playing like a 2000 player, it will rise in leaps and bounds - nothing to worry about. 

Sometimes I feel like I would like to have that kind of a rating myself. There is a word for that - it's called "sandbagging" and it's a really bad thing to do. 

So play and enjoy. When you play better and consistently (not playing one game like a genius, then blundering pieces for three games), your rating will show improvement.
