Like a white flag for surrender. I'm not entirely sure as I use the app.

It's the flag that's the second icon from the left above your name, It should show the words "Resign Game" as in this screen capture when you pass your mouse over the flag, This is from a daily game - I think it's the same as live-game screens in the part I'm showing, if not it's basically the same - daily games include a couple extra things like "submit move" and "conditional moves":
