I tried weird openings and played either a4/a5 or h4/h5 depending on what color I was playing and just kept losing. Lost nearly 80 elo points on chess.com.

However the plan was to persist till I won one with these openings. Which I did.

However that was after a long losing streak. If you play this weird opening and have a winning record, then respect.

In shorter time controls players generally make mistakes but it doesn't mean that your this weird opening is good.

Please don't try to win.Just try to learn first.

My brother loves to play this opening against me. He tends to win a lot of the times with it.
He calls his variation:
"The Grindeye Variation"

Take it easy, the guy's just having fun. I play that on occasion too. (On the rare occasion that I ACTUALLY play, lol)
