Respect is a Responsibility

The tragedy of Danya's passing should be an alarm. The world of social media seems to have taken away our appreciation for respecting others, as it creates an illusion of invulnerability. The use of the medium to harass and bully others is out of control. To allow someone as clearly unhinged and out of touch with reality, consumed by paranoia and the growing realization of his own fading abilities and inevitable path towards irrelevance like Vladimir Kramnik to completely destroy a young man's desire to live is unforgivable and despicable. We know what Kramnik is. We know what he did. He will further sully Danya's reputation and hurt his family to deflect from his outrageous and vile behaviour ... but we ALL know. May it haunt him to his grave.
