Looking at one of your recent games, you would benefit most from taking an interest in chess, if you want to become better. Learn abiut how to play. Forget moving fast until you can play.
Have you tried using the analysis tool or the opening explorer for how to best reply to the most popular openings? For example a popular one for beginners is to bring the queen out fast, like trying for the scholars mate, which I saw your last game you faced... You responded in a weak manner and there are simple easy to remember moves which turn the advantage to your favour against risky openings like rhat
I saw you wrote about early queen attacks a few days ago, the good thing about chess is there are often counters to such openings that you can learn, so if they play 2. Qh5 you can reply 2... Nc6 which protects the e5 pawn from the queen. Then if they play 3. Bc4 which is the scholar's mate, then you can simply reply 3...Qe7 which protects against mate in the soundest way, by blocking with pawns you weaken your structure and block your own pieces in, and the white queen can dodge around and perhaps steal pieces from behind the pawns. After their scholar's mate fails black is ahead with a nice advantage and its only 2 moves you need to memorise after 1.e4 e5
I sugget using the lichess analysis tool if you dont have a paid membership here, there is a free opening explorer and analysis tool on lichess which is excellent, you can use that to analyse your own games by pasting the pgn code from the game here. You can also input moves in the analysis tool and opening explorer to learn openings and the soundest responses.
Often you will find that your opponent catch you with what is called "cheese" in other games, like the scholar's mate or other such strategies which can get a cheap win if you aren't already familiar or haven't learned the safe responses. However once you do learn the safe responses, you gain a huge advantage very easily and quickly because what they attacked you with wasn't actually a good attack, but a cheap trick which backfires and turns the table against themselves. This will help you a lot at the lower levels as people there try and win in the easiest way possible, but learning to beat those strategies will serve you in the future and teach you solid chess at the same time, and serve as the building blocks for your own ideas when facing unfamiliar things in the future.
So in short my main advice would be to analyse your own games and the most prevalant things moves your opponents catch you with in the lichess analysis tool, and learn how to beat them that way, you can do that with anything.
tonight Monday - score now 163 - one loss-36 moves -one draw at 61 moves - one win at 63
some much helpful advice - from above chess players -- something to ponder - thank all
i still don't like fast openings i don't use them or like them when they are played against me -- i don't think 10 min. games to be fast- quick maybe not fast if i can't see the move to make or think ahead to adversary's move in a 10 minutes game then -- then you missed it and will probably lose - losing has now not as much sting as it once did - as long as i get over 35 moves before they kill me -i always when i know i will lose tell the adversary how many moves I'm trying to stay at--- if i make then i feel like i accomplished something if i don't then i feel beaten
thank all
three games this morning all loses all over 35 moves--- thank god--- only saving grace i guess - very sunny tuesday -- must get to the honey due list one maybe two items then i will be back before noon - to play a few more
cancer clinic just phoned cancelled appointment for another week -- not feeling good about that - but it is sunny out side -- so i will take that
well couple more losses going back the basement again guess i should accept 100 is my station at this site
just an observation but i win in the morning and lose in the late afternoon every day hummmmmmm something to ponder-- 2 more losses well there is alwasys tomorow

Moving the Q early is not good. So if 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5?! Nc6 3.Bc4, g6 is better than 3…Qe7.
Qe7 puts the Q in the way of developing the B at f8. 3…g6 forces the W Q to move. If 4.Qf3 (that mate threat again), then 4…Nf6 takes care of that. White's Q is then on the natural square for his N, so that's a pain for him.
If 5.Qb3 (threatening Bxf7+), now you can play Qe7. Or get wild with 5…Nd4!?, threatening the Q. 6.Bxf7+ Ke7 and the W Q is tied up trying to protect that B on f7. Fun!
one win one loss so a wash i guess - loss was over 40 moves so that is ok -- afternoon nap taking hold now see you at dinner time
well just got up from my afternoon nap and had supper-- light soup-- the new meds some days really take it out of me in the afternoon today a little more than less other days -- so have a cup of tea to settle my tummy and a way we go for a coupe of games
tonight so far one win one draw at 65 moves and one loss at 47 moves - hummmmmm i guess another draw series of games - hoping for better -- but it ain't three losses
this morning thursday - 2 wins two loses 29 moves and 36 moves - so even wash - but my losses where poorly played -- one was because of pawns always getting in the way and other knights piveted all the time and got me -- well back at just before noon maybe i can try to improve those losses to at least lose at move 40 and above --
your a better player than me so i should be coming to you for advice --- sorry haven't figured a work around yet for that problem
sat at noon ---four more wins in a row ---- what's going on people is the site broke or something -od maybe i should buy a power ball ticket today --or lotto max - my luck valve seems to be high this Saturday noon
