Romantic Blitz

Romantic Chess: An era of Chess that at least in Professional tournaments and matches, doesn't seem to appeal to that many players. If you see a romantic style player, most often they are the exception not the rule... But in online blitz, these openings live on (probably because blitz is more intuition than calculation because of the time constraints a.k.a. short time controls.)

Scotch Gambit, Evans Gambit, King's Gambit, and many others are reputably speaking, fun to play. I'd like for everyone as a community especially those that play these types of openings in blitz regularly to share the fun games that they've played and encountered.

Lol. I agree with you...

I've actually been able to play this in real life. For some reason, it makes me feel special to re-create this short but amazing classic game. I'm sure others have done this.

Yeah. I've seen that game before and I was amazed at how it ended. Morphy was always good at employing his pieces for the attack.
