Everyone who I’ve interacted with were kind and reasonable people, maybe I’ve just been getting lucky?

Same for me... Maybe it is just luck

Yeah, same for me. People are nice even when they’re losing- somebody once told me nice move when i took their queen- but some people just are toxic, and I just ignore them.

How ironic that a post about rude behavior has rude behavior in it

That's why I disable messaging in the settings. I just come here to play Chess and visit the forums, not be distracted by the morons. You should try it too.

Naming and shaming is clearly against community guidelines.

Expressing an opinion on a statement makes one a bully? Others labeling you is bullying but you labeling others is OK? Sounds fair.

heck with that, they are only mad the worst players is when they losing and doing nothing and you are losing time when you can play another game

Would you consider a vastly superior rated player not resigning in an unrated game when down material for a substantial period in the hope of "winning" on time rude / unsporting?

No....no one is forced to play in the fast categories. Don't like the time restrictions? Play classical games or 60 min games. Plenty of people in every player pool in every category-everyday.

If you’re also far up on time then it’s rude

If you're going to generalise about all us limeys, howabout all Americans are transgender and crap in the streets in CA or are bible belts thickos elsewhere...or can't recognise 9/11 as an inside job or realise they have had a geriatric puppet imposed on them...

but yeah, my fellow Brit, assuming he isn't an homsexual, brolly welding, bucktoothed etc etc should just block....
