Basically,I like this site, sure there are rude people on this site, but I suspect this isn't the only site where they act obnoxous. For the most part the rude people here don't affect me,I don't take what they say personally. In fact, most of the time they strike me as rather unintentionally funny.
Rude Members
Right but it's the reasoning. I had an objectively bad position and we were about 29 moves in, he was being flakey and then saying to go find someone else to play, is just being a twit and pretending like I don't exist. I'd expect some dignified behavior from a mod, now I know that no one can be trusted.
Faulty logic and conclusion.

I agree. And most sites will inevitably have rude people.

I almost never chat during a game.
Never assume they can find a way to win. That is why we have the term blunder. During the holidays on chess.com i say the chances of blunders increase 20% due to drinking, smoking, rushing and etc.
I think this guy saw it as begging. Just send a rematch after the game ends. If you still want a rematch wait a couple months then try again. Maybe it was not you at all. Your opponent could be going thru a tought time right now. Maybe they are getting the Visa bill from all that Christmas spending and they are 2 months behind on the morgage and they just saw a car they wanted to buy. Hard to determine the mental state of the person your chatting with during a game. If you knew might go WOW.
He/she might needed that victory to savor as that is one thing that is going good in there life at the moment. Yeah it is not going to change how it made you feel but help you deal with it in the future if it should happen again.

You're right, a persons mood can dictate a lot on any given day. However I've never miscontrued someone asking me for a rematch as begging unless I've won against them like 4 or 5 times.
My point was never to say people shouldn't have the right to turn down rematches, but the way he went about it I thought was very shabby and disingenuous.
Faulty logic and conclusion.
You're right, the last line was unnecessary I'm just venting a bit. I get too worked up over this kind of stuff sometimes.
Ayoubi makes a great suggestion at the end of his post.
thx
hope rudy's gonna read it
Think about howto many people are on here. You put that many together you bound to ended up with some idiots.
To Cystem_Phailure; Thank you for your answer. I didn't quite get it at first, but now that I think about it. In post #17, I'm assuming your refering to public computers at libraries and colleges? I know you can't use goverment computers to play chess. 6 months ago my computer went down; so I ran to the V.A. so as not to lose any games on time. I couldn't log in; all the're computers are locked out of game sites or porn sites. They don't want employees screwing off all day.
Oh good. For a second there I thought I was muted. Guess it was just my internet not working properly.
Sadly i agree with everything, player here can't accept loses, they just "use all their time" when they are gonna get mated or down too much material, and in some cases people just started to curse me and israel just because i had beaten them in a chess game, A CHESS GAME!
"I'm sure you can find someone else to play against" sounds perfectly fine to me.
