The system tries to even the number of games with black and white, so if you don´t get a rematch after losing with black, you will probably get white against your next random oponnent. So in the long run it doesn´t matter, unless you want to play specifically with that unknown user for some strange reason.

Having said that, you have played almost 500 more games as white than as black, so I don´t see why are you complaining, or do you think that you deserve to have even more whites?

6614 games as white.

6126 games as black.

do you even understand what i am trying to say?   chess was invented and played by GENTLEMAN and made to be played with class.  is it classy to play white win then run? if you think that's ok then so be it for you.  i don't.

Owlswick, there could be any number of reasons why people don't want to play you more than once. Personally I take break between each blitz game I play.

Regarding rematches I never feel an obligation to accept a rematch against a player I have no "relationship" to. For instance a player who makes no attempt to communicate before or after the game other than press the "rematch" button.

There are many reasons to refuse a rematch and I doubt most players share your opinion on how important it is to play white. If I play against someone who blunders a bishop in the opening but stubbornly plays on, dropping more material and going through a clearly lost endgame, I probably won't play them again. There's nothing wrong with not giving up in a lost position, hoping your opponent blunders or even trying for a stalemate, but if I think your playing style is boring I'm going to find another opponent.

Lost focuse there for a bit, but my point is simply that no one owes you a rematch, not everyone shares your obsession with playing white and refusing a rematch has nothing to do with "class" except in your head.

There is a simple solution to your problem, though. Before a game starts just make it clear that you expect a rematch or form a group on chess.com dedicated to this sort of thing.

OP I have question for you. If I play you white and I win because you play weak, why should I wasting my time playing you again? Thete is lots of players on chess.com I can play with, not only you.

i believe these are the first lines of the runner's anthym.  you can make any excuse you want on "why you do it" but the fact remains it's just proper to offer your opponent a chance to play white (which has an advantage) after you just beat them playing said colour.

this being said by a player who has played 74% white.

These types of thread show up often on Chess.com. Someone has a certain way they prefer to play and decry everyone who plays differently. They make up names to describe these people (runners, leechers, stompers, whatever) and pretend theirs is the only "proper" way to play.

Just play the way you like to play, let others play the way they like to play. Live and let live.

does this site even know what a runner is ( plays white wins runs with no rematch) it's an epidemic!  this site gives you no way to stop it.  it gives you 200 blocks (chesscube gives you infinite blocks) there have to be thousands of runners on this site and if you refuse to play them the site  penalizes you by warning you. i joined this site but will not renew my membership until they give me infinite blocks to deter these runners.

ALL your comments (check them out) have no facts or basis) but are only reasons that ALL of you use to convince yourselves that it's "ok to run" .

Since you don´t know how to quote, I´m going to put in red what I wrote and in blue what you wrote.

What I said is true, you have played almost 500 games more as white than as black.

That 74% of games as white that you saying that I have played is simply false, I play almost only blitz (and some online) chess since a long time ago, but I´ll put all my percentages:

Online chess: 50%-50% (based on 125 games)

Bullet: 50%-49% (based on 375 games)

Blitz: 50%-49% (based on 4484 games)

Standard: 53%-47% (based on 209 games)

 So in summary:

1) You have played more than 500 games as white than as black

2) Your 74% figure is totally made up, so apparently you don´t know how to read

3) You don´t know how to quote

4) By the way, that FnG guy that you were insulting had more games as black than as white.

In my opinion, people have their own lives to deal with, so yeah no rematch is warranted every time one plays a game.

Now, now, little TROLL, you're lying so you almost believe it YOURSELF. I've never said I play white and "run", I accept almost every rematch offer I get and I never pay attention to what side of the board I've played against particular opponents, I just disagree with you.

You should learn to accept the fact that people disagree with you without making it personal. I disagree with you, so of course I belong to this imaginary group of people that you hate? Brilliant.

If you're not a troll, just delusional, I apologize for calling you a troll.

AcidBagger: The OP is not a troll, otherwise he wouldn´t waste his time posting notes in every player´s wall  that disagrees with him or that don´t give him rematches.

Avatar of ColonelKnight

Oy, OP. You randomly get a color. Just wait to get white and then don't rematch. Be a prick like everyone else. Happy?

Consider being a prick a privilege of getting white. Get over it.
