Ok to be fair what i was doing was a self imposed handicap of trying to get stalemates , and after so many losses i would catch my wins up, but i bumped into a player rated 1003 played like a 1800-2000 player. I barely won that match. Anyone else Sandbag to try a self imposed handicap?
no that is just not fair to other chess players. if you really want to do what you do, play unrated games
Well its fair to those that beat me they get to get points.
how is that fair? you just let them win, it is not like they deserved the win or so

you don't try to win so the game is not fair, simple
If i tried to win all the time it gets boring, honestly everyone so on about winning, i enjoy every game and not one person would say i “let “ them win. Sometimes when they get aggressive i have to put them down

Well tomato tomatoe.... i teach just as much if you go full force new people and even some sensitive veterans can get very mad. Wish they combine the woman and men chess leagues i’d like to see a OTB game against the other sex

I used to sandbag quite a bit. I would drop my blitz rating down to just below 1000 and then try to make it over 1300 without losing or drawing a game.
I would also see how high I could get my rating while sacrificing a knight on move 2 of every game.
Im starting to come back i expect to be 1300 by new years and hopefully my full score 1800 by middle next year, my old account was lost so i had this one for 3 years+ if your upset or feel wronged by me i will face anybody in a open challenge, check my friends game record, those three losses was also me sandbagging but im alot less likely to do it when VS ..... i was teaching my friends to play.
I don't care for this sandbagging in chess. Remember the good ol' days when sandbagging was what us ladies got done at the plastic surgeon's

Awe my other thread got shut down while i was asleep ... all well controversy is hard to keep a lid on.
I begin my rise. Facing higher level oppnts is slowly raising my level back up to where i was.... frightening.... sigh man look at what you guys made me do... playing at full strength....ugh i feel bad now
When i started this thread i was 1285 wins 1284 losses and 127 stalemates
