sandbagging notification query - Chess Forums

Hi

New to the forums. I got this notification popup "user sandbagging restriction (rating highly fallen down)". I understand it because my rating dropped a lot recently (unintentionally). How can I get this "ban" removed. Or can I just play normal games until my elo is higher? Will I then be able to join tournaments. Is there a time period on this ban? Maybe just post link to rules so i can see if its worth continuing on this account.

I would suggest writing to support@chess.com. I haven't seen any clear guidelines posted.

Thank you for the advice. I'll get another 100 elo and if the problem persists, I'll give them a call.
