I followed some people in here but how can I understand that they are online or playing online I can't find any option to see the game of someone who I followed

Following on the website follows content; blog posts, new topics created by the member, etc.

To follow in Live, check out the friends tab, though I'm not sure the regular site follow will show the games that way or not. You may still need to manually do that when in Live.

So /follow followed by the username.
