selecting game + abort button

I have two problems and would be happy if someone could help me solve them.

If I want to go play 3min crazyhouse chess straight away, how do I do that?

The only way I’m aware of is if I go to ’Play’, then select a random game, and once I see the chessboard I can then select crazyhouse at the top.

But the problem is, if I select a random game at ’Play’, I’ll be taken to the chessboard and I won’t be able to abort the game.. I’d just see the white flag and when I hover over it I see ’Resign’.

So for me, the only way to play crazyhouse (without resigning one game)  is to first play a normal chess match and then after I’m done with that match I select crazyhouse because the game doesn’t allow me to abort.

P.S. I can still abort on the old chess.

Create a Custom Challenge and choose CrazyHouse as the game Type. That is a sticky setting, so if you want to change back to another game type you will need to create another custom seek.

As to not having an abort, if you abort too much, you lose the ability. Play enough games to completion, and the abort option should return.

but i have the abort button on old chess... what’s up with that? And I almost never abort.

I guess it is possible something is different.  Though, I have only ever aborted once or twice after clicking something I didn't mean to.
