Self delusion

In early days when I had a different ID  and was a paying member I'd win some chess games thinking I'd played really good moves.   A worry crept into my mind that my opponents would think I was cheating with a chess program (I don't have one and haven't ever used one.).    Then I discovered you could have your games analyzed by the chess.com computer.

What a laugh my worries were when I saw percentage of inaccurracies, mistakes, and blunders.

Yes. It is a humbling experience to submit our finest games to engine analysis. I recently played an OB game which I won with an excellent (I thought) attack against stubborn and valiant defense. After running the game through Shredder I thought, "My God! We both sucked!"
