I doubt even GMs make much money from it. They either do it for fun or to build an audience for themselves to promote their other projects like books.

Does anybody know what Banter Blitzers get paid?
I've been watching some Banter Blitzes with Max Dlugy and Peter Svidler. I began to wonder what their pay rate might be per show. Is there any way to gain access to this information?
