I don't have any daily games ongoing but it would be good if chess.com in these kind of situation somehow could make sure that people don't loose on time because server is down.

Or the site could start rationing games. If your handle starts with a letter between A and M, then you can only play games on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you handle starts with a letter between N and Z, you can only play games on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sundays are a rest day for everyone... The servers have to rest sometimes...
