The only disadvantage with the trap is that after 5... Nxe5, you are just down a piece

This trap can be safely carried out by playing h3 before Nxe5. In this case, if black plays Bh5, play Nxe5. Even if black plays Nxe5, play Qxh5. Then black will probably play Nxc4, white plays Qb5+ forking King and Knight. After all transactions, white will still be a pawn up. Please refer to my game at top of this page for safety move.

I know of that one. The official version is with 4 ... h6. But most people are just too focused on the queen
