No...there are tournaments with vacation, and tournaments that dont allow vacation. You have a choice.
Should all daily tournaments be non vacation??

Never understood how someone using vacation can ruin anothers persons day? If you log on to chess.com and check your active games, and its not your move, go on to the next thing you would do.
