How playing strength can be compared to writing a book? Even he wins it, you should look at the scarce resources at your disposal that is money in this case.

I understand you live in Norway but here in the developed world: Nobody cares. You guys really, really don't seem to understand that Vishy and Carlsen are totally useless beings, too. Neither one of them has done anything with their lives but play chess. Nothing. Vishy's like 60. The man has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old. I wouldn't bother. Read the classics, and study Fischer and Kasparov.
Study whatever players you feel like studying, honestly.
