Should I pay to get this websites resources?

Hello, first I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Omar El Ashry and I’m from Egypt, where sadly, chess isn’t given a fair share of attention. Thankfully though I found this website and started practicing here (I’m new to this website btw!). I’ve always liked chess but never actually sat down and studied openings, tactics and so on. I never even knew it had theory to know or lines to memorize in the first place!

So on to the topic I want to discuss, as a beginner player (by beginner I mean I know how pieces move, familiar checkmates, some openings, controlling the center etc.) who has no other way to practice and study chess apart from online, what is the best way to spend my money? I’ve already downloaded some books I’m reading them as of right now, some examples are chess fundamentals and  Tal’s winning chess combinations. I also played dozens of game as an anonymous (which a great a deal of them have been lost😂, which is something I don’t mind happening as long as it’s for the greater good). So I don’t stray too much, should I purchase the diamond rank and use this website or should I be using the money on buying books and trying to implement them in my game? In other words, what is the best way to spend my money? If you have any other ideas, that are better and more efficient...I’m all ears!

Kind regards,

Omar

Go for the platinum like me. You get 10 lessons a day I think but more importantly you get unlimited puzzle rush and tactics.

If you have the funds, go for it. But there’s so much available even at the lower membership levels.
