Yes any other basis is fine. But not nationality.
Yeah, definitely a hate crime.
But if u think about it though, ur opponent was factually correct. U have the American flag (so they assumed ur American), and u did lose, correct?
But still, it's a hate crime and they invaded ur safe space. Such shenanigans shall not be tolerated.

Traveling back to the original comment, block him. This is just an example so pls don't report me for the following. Saying something like that is like saying "ew your not the same as me" so he had no right to do that. This dude sounds very rude and maybe a tad crazed.
Hi, so I was playing this game and I accidentaly blunder mate. Welp. Right before the guy mated me, he texted "american loser" in the chat. I felt this to be offensive, but I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or not. Should I report him or not?
