I don't care if it looks like I'm online personally. I am always logged in and I usually have this webpage up whether I'm at the computer or not. SOmetimes I just get on to read articles or blogs and not necessarily to make moves. If someone is waiting on me it's too bad for them. They can play a live game or start more slow games if they're eager to play.

There is something that says to check if we want to be logged in all the time. I checked it. But when I go to online chess, some players are logged in and some are not.
I am not sitting at my computer all day and night playing chess at chess.com! (I do have a life outside of chess.com believe it or not. ) But being logged in all the time gives the appearance of my sitting at the computer waiting to see what will happen next on chess.com - or does it?
What do the rest of you do?: Log out or not?
